Check out The Whedonverse!
Good day, Dollhouse fans!
We're excited to announce the unveiling of The Whedonverse, a brand new portal for all things Joss Whedon. While this wiki will remain the go-to resource for in-depth Dollhouse information, the Whedonverse hopes to build a community around things like Whedon's one-off films (like Much Ado About Nothing or The Avengers), the actors he repeatedly works with, and more.
We'd love it if you'd come check it out and lend some of your Whedon expertise to the community!
My new toy
As of today, October 27th 2010, I am the proud owner of the Rossum Corporation domain name. The old site has been down for quite a while now, but I have now put up a page explaining that the website is down due to a fire at the corporate office. I had thought about developing content ahead of time, but there was a chance I would be outbid on the domain name so I held off on everything other than the new logo (which is similar to the one used toward the end of season 2, but there are some differences); but now that its mine expect to see some new content here fairly soon.
I'm kicking around a few ideas with what to do with it. I do plan to keep it primarily an in-character website, but I may add some hidden areas for some extra content. I a…
Fox not ordering more episodes of Dollhouse
The network has decided not to order more episodes of the show. However Fox "was quick to stress the series hasn't been canceled as they are simply capping its second season at 13 episodes". Dollhouse will finish production on all 13 episodes of the second season, and Fox will air all the episodes as previously announced.
Dollhouse on hiatus during November
Fox will not air new Dollhouse episodes during November sweeps, but it will air back-to-back new episodes starting December 4th, beginning with Summer Glau's two-parter 2x05/06 "The Public Eye"/"The Left Hand".
Don't forget to watch the last episode before the hiatus, this Friday's 2x04 "Belonging" which E! Online calls "the most touching, heartbreaking episode that Dollhouse has produced to date", and Maureen Ryan says its "one of the most emotionally compelling hours the show has ever done".
All 13 to air
Fox has agreed to all 13 episodes for Season 2!
While that in itself is good news considering the show was on the verge of getting pulled of the air a week ago, it essentially means that any pick-up beyond that inital order of 13 will happen only if the show recovers in numbers and bounces back to where Fox wants it to be. That means that our efforts to promote the show should not stop here, we've still got a steep hill to climb.
Help promote the show!
According to Dollverse, Dollhouse is in danger of being pulled off air. There's an organized fan-campaign to promote the show in various ways. Let's help!
Season 2 premieres today!

Sumer Glau joins the Dollhouse!
